Monday 26th – Friday 30th May  

May Half Term Fun.
A variety of family activities including:

  • Tank Action Display. (Weekdays only, starting at 1pm). A variety of historic armoured vehicles put through their paces in a thirty minute demonstration of tank mobility.
  • Tracked Vehicle Rides. (Monday 26th - Friday 30th from 11 am – 4pm) Feel the thrill of riding in a tracked vehicle for yourself in our specially converted M548, converted to hold 16 people at a time. (Small extra charge applies).
 

Wednesday 21st May. 7pm   The Light Cavalry Band. The Bovington based Light Cavalry band perform Big Band classics. £5 adults, £3.50 under 16’s. Call 01929 462359 for tickets.

Tankfest 2008* (reserved special event day)
The most explosive weekend in Dorset!

Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th June.

  The world’s best display of moving armour returns to the Tank Museum. More information on this major event will be given as it becomes available.

War Gamers Weekend* (reserved special event day)
Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th July   Exhibitors display war games on the Museum floor. Please note that access to some exhibits may be obstructed.

Weds 9th July

Sunday 9th November.   Remembrance Sunday Service & Free Entrance Day.
Moving Remembrance Service held in the Museum, attended by soldiers from Bovington Camp. Visitors welcome to attend; free entry for local people all day.

The Tank Museum is open daily 10.00am to 5.00pm.
Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day ’08 and New Years Day ’09.
Don’t forget that your Tank Museum admission ticket is now an annual ticket.
You can use it to visit as many times as you like in a year!
* Denotes a reserved special event day.
You may not use your annual ticket for re-admission on these dates.
